Photo tour Tenerife 2021

In the heart of the Canary archipelago, in the Atlantic Ocean, Tenerife is the largest of the seven tropical islands.
Located off the coast of Africa, the climate is pleasant almost all year round.

Its special feature is its volcanic origin, which has a significant influence on the climate, vegetation and landscape:
Starting with the subtropical blossoms of the coastal strip with palm trees and banana plantations, the flora of the temperate regions follows, and within a few kilometers you reach the barren high mountain landscape past extensive pine forests. On the high plateau around the 3718-metre-high Pico de Teide, you finally end up in a fascinating volcanic landscape between abstract rock and lava formations.

Due to its island location, the trade wind climate which leads to the formation of a cloud cover at around 1000 meters and thanks to the enormous height of the Teide National Park of well over 2000 meters, the Canary Island of Tenerife is one of the three best places in the world for observing the night sky, alongside the Atacama Desert and Hawaii. Ideal for astrophotography!

Join the two internationally award-winning landscape and night photographers Giulio Cobianchi and Stefan Liebermann on a diverse island and experience breathtaking landscapes by day and by night!

The photo tour is aimed at all photo enthusiasts who want to discover the incredible landscapes of the island. We will visit and photograph the most beautiful places on the island and will take turns photographing at dawn, sunset and at night.

The difficulty of the trip is easy to moderate and a sufficient level of fitness is required. This is a trip with a focus on photography, which means that it will not be possible to eat in a restaurant every evening.

During the workshop we will study all aspects of landscape photography by day and night, from theory to practice and post-processing. We will start from the theoretical and technical basics and apply them to impressive photo motifs. We will then evaluate the images together and apply various post-processing techniques. The aim is to return home with a fantastic experience and breathtaking landscape shots.
